Advanced Primary Care Plus Scope of Services

The services below are included with every APC+ membership at minimum. Many providers offer even more. Ask your selected provider what else is included under your employer membership.

Provided Scope of Services:

General Services

  • Same or next-day appointments when you’re sick or need urgent care
  • Routine wellness visits within 30 days
  • Longer visits with your doctor (usually 30-60 minutes)
  • Get help anytime by text, email, chat, phone call or video visit
  • Coverage when your doctor is unavailable
  • Unlimited wellness visits and sick visits, virtually or in person
  • House calls if your doctor doesn’t have an office
  • Little or no wait time with scheduled appointments
  • Welcoming office with clear signs
  • Electronic medical records
  • Referrals to trusted specialists
  • Coordination between your doctor and specialists
  • Doctor contacts you within 1 day of membership

Procedures

Basic office procedures included (some clinics may differ).

  • EKGs with interpretation
  • Ear wax removal
  • Yearly Pap test (lab fee not included)
  • TB skin test
  • Joint draining and shots
  • Skin biopsy and removal (lab fees not included)
  • Removing skin tags, warts, etc. (lab fees not included)
  • Stitching up minor cuts
  • Splinting or casting (equipment included)
  • Nebulizer treatment
  • Draining abscesses and cysts

  • Preventive care recommended for your age and gender
  • Mental health support from your doctor
  • Overall health maintenance
  • Routine primary care
  • Wellness and preventive care
  • Chronic disease management
  • Health risk assessments
  • Urgent care for illnesses and minor injuries
  • Yearly wellness exams
  • Yearly school and sports physicals
  • Basic vision screening
  • Basic hearing screening
  • Well women care
  • Pre-surgery evaluations
  • Hospital follow-up care
  • Coordinating hospital admissions
  • Basic weight management counseling (non-pharmaceutical)
  • Well child care (optional)

  • Basic Laboratory Services
  • Basic Imaging (Xray)
  • Advanced (pharmaceutical supported – GLP1) weight management & counseling
  • Mental Health (24×7 access to virtual mental health counselors)
  • Clinical Pharmacology (Pharm D) medication review and management
  • Physical Therapy (virtual or in person)
  • Diabetes supply management
  • Women’s Health
