Why did I get a bill from Apaly?

Apaly is a software platform that employers use to offer and process billing for Advanced Primary Care Plus (APC+). If you have additional questions regarding your billing, please contact your HR representative at your company.

Do I have to change my primary care doctor to sign up for APC+?

No, you don’t have to switch doctors to sign up. However, to get all the benefits of APC+, you’ll need to establish with an APC+ provider.

Does this affect existing specialist relationships?

Not at all. You can keep seeing your current specialists as long as they’re in network with your current health plan and deliver high quality care.

Is this available to everyone in my family?

Yes, your whole family can enjoy an APC+ membership if they’re covered under your health plan. In many cases, your employer has already paid for it, so you and your dependents can access APC+ services at no extra cost. You can use the “Find My Doctor” tool on Apaly’s website to locate, select, and establish with nearby APC+ providers.

How do I get paid?

You get paid through the apaly platform via ACH transfer directly to your bank account.

What do I have to do differently than I do today?

You must report your patient encounters into the Apaly platform, which can be done with one click.

I don’t submit claims today, nor am I willing to do so. How does that affect my ability to participate?

That’s not a problem. Apaly is built for providers like you who prefer subscription-based care models. There’s no need to submit claims or deal with insurance. Apaly enables you to operate under a subscription based model, and apaly translates your services into claims that are submitted to the carriers/TPAs that administer the employer health plans.

Why is the employer involved?

The employer’s role is to pay the APC+ membership for their employees and families. This removes the financial barriers for patients, enabling them to access Your services without worrying about copays, deductibles, or the membership fees. Why can’t the employer simply provide the funds to their employee to pay me?

From a legal, compliance, and operational basis, the large regional and national employers have to pay for healthcare services through their health plan funds account. Plus, There isn’t anyone at a large employer who can simply swipe a credit card to pay APC+ membership fees.

Isn’t Apaly just another middleman?
